Finding a Good, Affordable Web Designer

Where do you guys go when you need an affordable web designer? I'm thinging iof getting some sites redesigned but not sure who I should go to.

If I get sites redesigned, will that affect my Google rankings at all do you think?

I can't help you witha web designer (I do all my own stuff) bit be careful how much of a change in content you do with the design (text & such) because that can effect your rankings.

if you redesign your site i really think it will affect your ranking. so you better find a good wed designer.
