This is really amazing ... I don't understand why this hasn't made headlines in the world news. Oh, wait a minute, that's right, we don't have a free press anymore:

The next time people sneer at you about "conspiracy theories", show them this.

One interesting point, when they say Dorothy Hunt was killed to send a message to her husband, if they were able to kill her that easily why not just kill Howard Hunt? If she 'was" killed how can we be sure that her husband didn't have a hand in it even and just wanted to get rid of her?
They were apparently having maritial problems according to the article, and Hunt was also apparently able to do some pretty nasty things given his background.

just my two cents

"They" may have needed to keep Howard alive for some reason, though. It's also possible Howard had her killed, too. He seemed to have been a thoroughgoing sociopath.

Personally I wouldn't trust anything Hunt said even on his deathbed. I also never believed the tramp in Dallas was him. His son seems to be going on a " gut feeling" that it was, which means he doesn't really know either. I would like to see these death bed confession documents and see if they have been verified as being in Hunts hand writing.

They aren't documents, they are recordings. I found a site with them. The voice has been verified as his and the source was his son. Even his sisters (who are apparently quite ticked that their brother released it) have said it's their father's voice.

When you listen to the tapes, it's pretty clear Hunt is proud of what he did. He seems to outline a more likely scenario than the one provided by the Warren Report, so I tend to lean toward Hunt's version of things than not.

His son appeared on Ian Punnett's talk show and played portions of the tape, if you're interested.

Hmmmm...interesting. Why isn't everyone jumping on this though. They don't believe him obviously. I never liked Johnson anyway, wouldn't put it past him to have had JFK killed.

Why does the press report constantly on Britney Spears' latest nonsense instead of the intricacies of what's going on in Washington?

Johnson's complicity was necessary, but the names they don't mention are the CIA guys behind the scenes. They were all anti-Communist, anti-Castro right wing nutjobs and Texas oilmen who just wanted Kennedy out of office for their own reasons.

Hunt was a consumate liar throughout his lifetime, and definitely a ' company man'. In my opinion he was lying to the end maybe to draw a little more attention off the real events on that day. His son is no better. I wouldn't trust anything he says or does. Death bed confessions don't have to be the truth. We just assume they are because we think the person has nothing to lose by making them.

We will never know who killed JFK and probably the truth is that even if we did know we might not want to face it.

I wouldn't rely on it, just based on Hunt's word alone (although I have no reason to suspect his son). It happens to comport with a lot of other information that has come out beforehand.

I think the truth has already been faced -- powerful people (including our own) kill people all the time. It is just part of the territory.

People will never accept that someone like a President of the United States could be murdered by someone as insignificant as Lee Oswald. Thats why you get all these conspiracy theories about higher ups and shadowy secret agents. If the conspiracy featured a bunch of seedy, insignificant people nobody would show any interest at all. How many conspiracies have we had, lets see...JFK...we faked the moon landing...
we think Aliens landed or crashed at Roswell...we flew airplanes into the WTO...what else did we do?
